Scope and Content

Correspondence dating from June 1938 to March 1939 writen by Conrad Gaster, Moses Gaster, and Bertha Gaster. Family attempts to have brother, Dr. Emil Gaster, released from Buchenwald concentration camp. In 1938, part of family emigrates and establishes the family business. Other family members remain in Vienna. Correspondence between Neil Abramson and Trude Levi concerning the archive of Rabbi Moses Gaster in London, England in the 1980s.
