Acquisition

The identification cards were issued to Irwin Ullmann and members of his family, and he obtained them after World War II. Irwin Ullmann donated the papers to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1995.

Scope and Content

The papers consist of four official copies of German identification cards ("Kennkarte") issued to members of the donor's family who did not survive the Holocaust.
