"In Your Blood I Live"
Jan (Janek) Rozanski was a Polish Holocaust survivor of Gross-Rosen.
A relative of Mr. Rozanski, Dan A. Oren, M.D., of Rockville, Maryland, informed United States Holocaust Memorial MuseumA in Aug. 1992 that he had turned over the memoir copy to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Oral History Department two years before. Apparently, Mr Rozanski was not contacted by that department, which finally turned it over to United States Holocaust Memorial MuseumA in July 1992. Mr. Rozanski signed a donor agreement the following month.
Contains information about Jan Rozanski's experiences during childhood in Poland; the German invasion and occupation of Poland; anti-Jewish measures; life in the ghetto and concentration camp; and liberation by Soviet troops.
