Acquisition

Henry Politzer donated the papers to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1997.

Scope and Content

The papers consist of a passport ("Reisepass") issued to Siegfried Politzer donor's father in Vienna, Austria; a birth certificate and a marriage certificate re-issued to Siegfried Politzer with the addition of the middle name "Israel;" and two letters regarding the ownership of assets forcibly relinquished in 1938 by Siegfried Politzer.
