The documents issued to or received by Harry Froelich immediately preceding and during his Nov. 1938 trip to the United States. Mr. Froelich donated the materials to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1993.
Scope and Content
The papers consist of a Deutsches Reich "Reisepass" stamped with a red "J" issued to Hans Wilhelm Froelich [donor]; a souvenir log of the ship S.S. Washington, United States Lines, chronicling the voyage from Hamburg, Germany, to New York in November 1938; and a photograph of travelers on board the S. S. Washington.
