Biographical History

Sarah Bernstein Field worked as an employee with the United States Civil Service in Germany from late 1946 to 1947, six months of which were in the Dachau concentration camp.

Archival History

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

Acquisition

Some of the photographs were created by Sarah Field in 1947. The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum by Sarah Field in 1996.

Scope and Content

The collections consists of five photographs of Holocaust memorials at Dachau and Bergen-Belsen concentration camps.
