The prayer book was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2021 by Tamara Kormes Morgenstern, daughter of Karl and Martha Kormes.

Prewar German prayer book which belonged to the Kormes family, who survived the Patria bombing and were detained in the Atlit (or Athlit) detainee camp before their immigration to the US in 1946.
