The photograph was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2004 by Sami Steigmann.

Scope and Content

The photograph is a formal studio portrait depicting the Steigmann family, Jews who were persecuted and imprisoned in Mahiliou (Mogilev) in Transnistria (Ukraine) during World War II. Inscription on verso in Yiddish.
