Sigmund was born in Wieluń, Poland, interned in concentration camps during World War II, and lived with the Neuburger family following World War II.

Acquisition

Sigmund Boraks lived in the Zeilsheim Displaced persons camp in 1945. He obtained these photographs and maintained them from 1945 until he decided to donate them to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives on March 29, 1999.
