Scope and Content
Text ony poster featuring a quote by Adolf Hitler from a speech he gave in the Reichstag on January 30, 1939, where he declared that if the Jewish control of international finance plunged the world into war, the result would not be victory for Judaism, but the destruction of the Jewish race. This small handbill with the quote was published the week of September 28 - October 4, 1941, for the Parole der Woche (Slogan of the Week) series produced by the Nazi Party in Germany from 1936-1943. This propaganda campaign which frequently targeted Jews and the Western Allies issued over a 1000 posters which were distributed and displayed throughout the German Reich. The series was discontinued in 1943 because of paper shortages caused by the prolonged war.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
Text only poster printed on light brown paper with a single paragraph of German text. At the beginning is a drop cap, an an oversize ornamental W with leaf cutouts on a yellow-gold background in black ink with a red outline. The rest of the quote is printed with red ink. Near the bottom ADOLF HITLER is in black ink with a black swastika with a red outline separating the two words.
