Scope and Content
Antisemitic text only Nazi propaganda poster featuring a quote by Dr. Joseph Goebbels, the German Propaganda Minister, denouncing the Jewish invention of Marxism as part of a conspiracy to control the world. The poster was issued for the week of September 28 - October 4, 1941, for the Parole der Woche (Slogan of the Week) series produced by the Nazi Party in Germany from 1936-1943. This propaganda campaign which frequently targeted Jews and the Western Allies issued over a 1000 posters which were distributed and displayed throughout the German Reich. The series was discontinued in 1943 because of paper shortages caused by the prolonged war.

Text only poster printed on light brown paper. There are two blocks of uppercase German text printed against a light blue rectangle background, with JUDEN at the beginning of each block in red ink and oversized font. The remaining text is in gray ink and smaller font.
