Acquisition

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received this collection from Chris Brown in March 1999. The collection orginally came to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum through Survior Affairs.

Scope and Content

Contains one videocassette about Leon Shear's trip to Poland in 1998, where in he recounts his Holocaust experiences; and copies of: one black and white photograph of the Shear family taken in Benozin, Poland, in 1933; one black and white photograph of Leon Shear three weeks after liberation in Starnberg, Germany; and one black and white photograph taken of Leon Shear's return to Auschwitz in July 1998.
