Scope and Content
Red, white, and blue single poster stamp or sticker issued to promote a boycott of Hitler. It depicts a snarling Nazi dog barred from entering a chained gate marked brotherhood of man, guarded by an American eagle. After Hitler came to power in Germany in January 1933, several organizations in the United States sponsored campaigns urging people to not buy or support Nazi related. Among the groups supporting boycotts of Nazi Germany were the American League for the Defense of Jewish Rights, the Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League to Champion Human Rights, and the Joint Boycott Council.

Square poster stamp with a red, white, and blue graphic design. The slogan is printed across the top. Below on the left is a chained gate with a blue background and a spread wing American eagle perched on a shield at the top, above a brotherhood of mankind sign; another slogan is printed at the bottom. On the top right is a blue panel with a white Star of David; below this are 2 tablets with Roman numerals for the 10 Commandments, on a red background, partly blocked by a snarling dog or wolf, in left profile, with a swastika band around its midsection. It has 2 perforated edges where it was separated from a sheet.
