Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Kielcach, Poland, Sygn.2447. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Jan. 2020. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.

Scope and Content

Records of the Jewish properties abandoned after war in Chmielnik, Poland. Included are official correspondence of the city council, rent registers, and registry books of individual properties with information about their previous Jewish owners.
