Acquisition
Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Kielcach, Poland, Sygn.2120. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Jan. 2020. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.
Scope and Content
Records related to history of Stopnica region and Jews living there in the interwar period. Includes plans of revitalization of the region, Starost's correspondence with daily paper "Epoka", newspaper clippings and articles, population statistics, files of finances and ownership of real estates, bills, bank documents, and hospital statistics.

Arranged in threee groups: 1. Handwritten history of Stopnica region and revitalization plans of the region; 2. Financial and court files related debtors and creditors, and ownership of properties; 3. Hospital records.
