Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Kielcach, Poland, Sygn. 695. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Jan. 2020. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.

Scope and Content

Court and prison correspondence, protocols and personal files of individual Jewish prisoners. Includes personal data of prisoners, and short sentences for common crimes such as theft.

System of Arrangement

Arranged in two groups: 1. Prison and court documents; 2. Files of Jewish prisoners from the Prison in Busko.
