Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Kielcach, Poland, Sygn. 524. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Jan. 2020. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.

Scope and Content

Registers of inhabitants of individual villages, industrial and commercial cards from 1941-1942, name lists and statistics of population from 1939-1943, and documentation regarding Jewish real estate, 1942. Includes the pre-war period records of the spa in Czarnecka Góra, a registration book of spa patients, also correspondence regarding the contribution to the Jewish religious community.

System of Arrangement

Arranged in four groups: 1. Records of the Spa Czarniecka Góra; 2. Statistics and lists of Jewish population, 1939-1943; 3. Industrial and real estate records; 4. Registers of population of villages of Commune Duraczów, 1932-1950.
