Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Kielcach, Poland, Sygn.363. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Jan. 2020. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.
Scope and Content
Selected records of the Polski Czerwony Krzyż (Polish Red Cross) in Kielce. Consists of reports of the Rada Główna Opiekuńcza, RGO (Central Welfare Council), lists of war graves, lists of victims of German crimes and war losses, help of the Polish Red Cross for prisoners of war, information about the fate of the Jewish population. Includes lists of Jewish soldiers who died during World War II and reports of the situation of Jews during World War II.

Arranged in three groups: 1. Reports related to humanitarian help; 2. Registers of Polish soldiers and their graves (Jewish names included); 3. History of the Polski Czerwony Krzyż in Kielce region, 1946-1948.
