Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Kielcach, Poland, Sygn. 125. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Jan. 2020. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.

Scope and Content

Statistics, population book, lists of voters for the Sejm (Polish Parliament) and Senate, includes many Jews, citizens of pre-war Poland.

System of Arrangement

Arranged in three groups: 1. Statistics of the Urzęd Gminy Bliżyn (Bliżyn Commune Office); 2. Book of the population of the Bliżyn commune; 3. Alphabetical list of voters to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Bliżyn commune.
