Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Łodzi, Poland, Sygn. 2112. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in January 2020. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.

Scope and Content

Register of passports and foreign travel permits containing name, surname, purpose and date of departure, also applies to persons of Jewish origin.

System of Arrangement

Arranged in two groups: 1. Register of passports issued in 1934-1939; 2. Register of passports issued in 1923-1927.
