Opening segment of NPR's "Performance Today" for April 24, 1990 (Tuesday); host: Martin Goldsmith. Segment features "Music of Terezin" in recognition of 10th annual Days of Remembrance observance taking place at the Capitol Rotunda that same day. Tape contents: 1) Ilse Weber, "Ich wandere durch Theresienstadt," performed by Emilie Berendsen, voice, and Steven Novacek, guitar 2) Goldsmith interview with USHMM music specialist Gila Flam 3) Pavel Haas, "Suite for Oboe and Piano," performed by Bernard Shapiro, oboe, and David Bloch, piano (cuts off after ca. 7 mins).
