Szymon Laks (1901-1983), Polish-French composer, survivor of Auschwitz (where he directed the men's orchestra), Holocaust memoirist.

Scope and Content

Cassette includes works of Jewish poetry by Shostakovich, Laks, and Ravel released in Warsaw in 1993 by Towarzystwo Przyjaźni Polsko-Izraelskiej (Polish-Israeli Friendship Society).
