Biographical History
The Jewish Committee in Przemyśl was among the first committees established in Poland after the liberation of Polish territories by the Red Army in July 1944. For this reason, the collection contains very interesting documents about Polish Jews who survived the Holocaust.

Source of acquisition is the Żydowski Instytut Historyczny im. Emanuela Ringelbluma Poland, Sygn. 367. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in March 2019.
