Yiṿo in Argenṭine

Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Yiṿo in Argenṭine (Fundación IWO). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in December 2018.

Scope and Content

Collection of documents of the Pilberg family relating to immigration from Poland to Argentina. Includes photographs, passports, certifications and letters.

System of Arrangement

Arranged in two groups: Emigration documents with ID photographs and correspondence; 2. Various family photographs (some photographs include handwritten names on the verso: Gabriela Pilberg, Chana Pilberg, Sara Pilberg; Chana, Junta and Władek Helman as children in Kalwaria Góra.
