Biographical History

Alexander Muller (1912-1979) married Paulina (born Pessa in Warsaw, Poland, 1914-2006) in 1939. In late1939 Alexander was conscripted into forced labor and later went into hiding. Alexander and Paulina had two children, Max and Milton. Max was born after the war in a DP camp.

Donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2018 by Max Muller and his daughter Alana Muller.

Scope and Content

The collection includes a journal, on loose pages, transcribed and recorded by Alexander Muller in a displaced persons camp in Kassel, Germany. The entries include statements and testimony from other survivors.
