Scope and Content

Contains correspondence, dated 1939-1940, and a photograph concerning the experiences of Gerda and Heinz Meyer, their daughter Tana (donor), and Tana's grandmother Charlotte Abelt. Includes correspondence from Charlotte and Gerda to Charlotte's sister and brother-in-law in Sweden. Charlotte and Tana survived in Theresienstadt; Gerda and Heinz were separately deported to Auschwitz, where Gerda was killed.
