Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Zakład Historii Ruchu Ludowego w Warszawie. Fundacja Rozwoju, Poland. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in May 2018. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.

Scope and Content

Reports, memories and other materials relating to peasant underground movement, labor camps, prisons and concentration camps, such as lists of the dead, organizational structures of the Peasant Battalions (BCH), reports of BCH members' meetings, correspondence, copies of secret messages written in the camp, speeches, descriptions, surveys and others concerning the territories of occupied Poland.
