Scope and Content

Contains documents regarding Herbert Ripp, who fled Nazi Germany in December 1939 for the United States, and his service in the US Army as an military intelligence officer trained at Camp Ritchie. Includes a typed confession of Gustav Hermann, a Nazi lieutenant in the Kovno Ghetto, dated 1945 and given to Herbert; as well as a charge sheet for German police officer Adolf Ruebe, who was charged with multiple counts of murder in Minsk, and ultimately sentenced to life in prison, dated 1948.
