United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Collection, Gift of Ginaitė-Rubinsonienė

Dr. Sara Ginaitė-Rubinsonienė donated this collection to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2005.

Scope and Content

Consists of two photographs from the collection of Dr. Sara Ginaite. Includes one photograph of Fanute Grunskaite, Sara Ginaite and Rebecca Giniene, taken in Kaunas, Lithuania, between 1934-1936. Franute Grunskaite was later recognized by Yad Vashem as Righteous Among the Nations for saving Tania Viroviciene during the war. Also includes one portrait of Misha Rubinsonas, a member of the Kovno ghetto resistance movement.
