Acquisition
Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Akt Nowych, Poland, Sygn. 247. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in December 2017. Note: This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.
Scope and Content
Registers of passengers departing from Poland in the 1930s by the American lines, finacial documents of Nathan Pearlmutter (1939), identity documents and passenger’s passports, a weekly newsletter for emigrants: "Wiadomości dla Emigrantów" (1930-1939) and a publication: "Emigration and Colonization" (1938).

Arranged in four series: 1. Financial documents of Nathan Pearlmutter, 1939; 2. Lists of passengers departing to USA from Gdynia, Hamburg, and other ports; 3. Passports and other identity documents, 1920-1940; 4. Published materials, newsletters, etc.: "Wiadomości dla Emigrantów", "Tygodniowy Biuletyn Informacyjny Syndykatu Emigracyjnego dla Prasy i Instytucji Emigracyjnych", 1930-1939, and "Emigracja i Kolonizacja", 1938.
