Scope and Content
Prisoner of War identification bracelet issued to Lewis Lax by the International Red Cross in 1944. Law was interned by the Germans in Stalag 10B from fall 1944 until liberation in spring 1945.

Rectangular metal tag with rounded corners and holes punched in 3 sides with the original rope looped through 2 holes, then tied. There are 5 cut-out slots in the center and 6 lines with text and numbers engraved on one side.
