Acquisition
Source of acquisition is the Regional State Archives in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria, records obtained through the cooperative project with the Yad Vashem, Israel. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum received the collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in November 2017.
Scope and Content
Selected records of the Pazardzhik District Administration, District Court and District Office of Agronomy, included are correspondence and documentation related to the sale of Jewish property in Pazarzdhik, correspondence with the Ministry of Interior and Commissariat of Jewish Affairs concerning the local Jewish population and confiscation of Jewish property, registration of the Jewish-owned companies etc. The second part of this collection contains surviving parts of the Archives of the Jewish Community of Pazardzhik (1915-1946).

Arranged in three series: 1. Records of the Pazardzhik District Administration, Office of Agronomy, and the District Court; 3. Records of Pazardzhik Jewish Religious Community: The Jewish Private Primary School, Board of Trustees, and Jewish Synagogue.
