Scope and Content
Records of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs relating to the German action against the Jews, case files of Jews who were persecuted, including some who were deported, some who escaped to Sweden, and others referring to Jewish property. Included are lists of arrested Jews, records on the Nazi movement, and the placement of Jewish children from Denmark in Palestine. Consists also records of the Danish Ministry of Social Affairs relating to support of emigrants, and publications relating to Freemasonry, Nazi oppressions, and Danish resistant.
System of Arrangement
Arranged in chronological order in six series: 1. Records relating to anti-Jewish incidents and German propaganda, 1933-1940; 2. Political movements during German occupation and anti-Jewish propaganda, 1939-1947; 3. Correspondence and other documents: German actions against Jews in Denmark and lists of captive Jews, 1943-1945; 4. Personal files of prosecuted and deported Jews, 1943-1946; 5. Inquiries, applications and reports relating to deportation of Jews and their property, 1943-1946; 6. Danish refugees in Sweden, and publications relating to Freemasonry, Nazi oppressions, and Danish resistant, 1943-1946.
