Scope and Content
Prayerbook for Pesach originally owned by Elsa Stern, and later acquired by the Schaumberg family in Kircheim, Germany. A complete set has 1-9 volume; this set is missing 4,5, and 6. It is not known if there was a relationship between Elsa Stern and the Schaumbergs is not known. The books were then sent to Tom Schaumberg's parents in Amsterdam, Netherlands, around 1936. The books were hidden in attic of the Schaumberg home in 1943. They were recovered by the family after the war ended in May 1945 and brought with them to the United States.
