Acquisition
Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Akt Nowych w Warszawie, Poland, Sygn. 476. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in March 2017. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.
Scope and Content
Reports, agreements, instructions, statistics, and other materials related to the condition, legal status and emigration of national minorities in Germany, including Poles and Polish Jews who were residing in Germany.

Arranged in four series: 1. Polish-German agreement on emigration of Jews-Polish citizens, instructions, and correspondence, 1938-1939; 2. Correspondence and circulars: General Cultural and educational issues of Polish emigration; 3. Report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a fragment of the book " Refugees. Anarchy or Organization?" by Dorothy Thompson: Jewish Question; 4. Reports, statistics and correspondence: Situation of the Polish population in Germany, 1938-1939.
