Scope and Content

Leather wallet with plastic sleeves inside that originally housed identification illustrating the Bier family who resided in Berlin and family that fled from Nazi Germany. Particularly documented in the collection is Siegfried Bier who fled to France and then the UK where he was interned as an enemy alien, and eventually then to the US.
