Scope and Content

Small metal and enamel clock manufactured by Kienzle, a German company, and was brought to Uruguay by a German Jewish refugree. Part of a collection of documents, photographs and artifacts relating to the experiences of Juan Jorge Schäffer (b. Vienna) and Inge Kalbermann Schäffer (b. Mannheim), both of whom fled Nazi occupation and emigrated to Uruguay.
