Biographical History
Anne Claire Hayat was born Anna Clara Volterra in Tunis to Italian parents in 1904, her husband Paul was born in Haifa in 1903, and their daughter Evelyne was born in Paris in 1931. Edouard Hudry, a municipal secretary in Grand Bornand, aided them during the war with false papers.
