Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
Rectangular bi-fold wallet made of red leather. The exterior is embossed with a swan in a circle above "1862." The emblem appears in the uppleft left corner of the front of the wallet, closest to the fold. There is stiching in red thread 1/4" away from the edge of the wallet. The interior has two pockets which cover 2/3 of each half. The top pocket is embossed with "CARL SCHWANITZ GUMMIWERK/ BERLINE N.39./ MÜLLER-STRASSE 179B." The opposite pocket appears to have been made with a different type of leather. There is a pen loop of the same red leather as the bulk of the wallet, the loop is in inbetween the two pockets, on the fold.
