Biographical History
The Katz Ehrenthal Collection is a collection of more than 900 objects depicting Jews and antisemitic and anti-Jewish propaganda from the medieval to the modern era, in Europe, Russia, and the United States. The collection was amassed by Peter Ehrenthal, a Romanian Holocaust survivor, to document the pervasive history of anti-Jewish hatred in Western art, politics and popular culture. It includes crude folk art as well as pieces created by Europe's finest craftsmen, prints and periodical illustrations, posters, paintings, decorative art, and toys and everyday household items decorated with depictions of stereotypical Jewish figures.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
Detailed, color print of many men in long, winter coats, hats, and gloves playing with a ball in a snowy Jewish market. They are pushing and pulling on each other as they look up at the ball or down at a man on the ground. To their right, a dog leaps in the air. They are tightly grouped within the open space between small wooden shops selling colorful objects. Four spectators stand in the shops to either side: a woman in a red headscarf and a man on the left, and a woman behind a bearded man on the right. In front of the second shop, a woman in a brown headscarf and 3 boys look at an object stuck on the awning. In the background, the silhouettes of onion domes are visible above a long building. The title is printed along the bottom. It is attached to a slightly larger paper backer.
