Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Kielcach, Poland, Sygn.1134. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Jan. 2016. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.
Scope and Content
Court files of civil cases (litigations: succession, liabilities, voiding of documents, opening of last wills, auctions and others) and criminal cases from 1939-1945. Indexes include date of trial, subjects of a case, and the date of a verdict. There are cases concerning the Jews from Kielce and its surroundings, as well as the immediate postwar period, such as information about death of relatives.

Arranged in five series: 1. Court civil affairs. Books of the court, 1938-1950; 2. Index of names with alphabetical order, 1939-1943; 3. Indexes of names of the Criminal Department, 1939-1945; 4. Selected civil cases against the Jews, and testaments, 1931-1943.
