Acquisition

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Kielcach, Poland, Sygn.1048. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Jan. 2016. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.

Scope and Content

Reports and information from police informers relating to political, social and labor organizations. Includes police statistics, registers of crimes, and orders.

System of Arrangement

Arranged in six series: 1. Reports of police activities, 1921-1924; 2. Reports of social situation, 1925; 3. Statistics and interrogation reports, 1920-1929; 4. General and situation reports, 1930, 1936; 5. The list of criminal offenses, 1922-1927, 1929-1930, 1932-1933, 1935-1939; 6. Orders and reports, 1930 to 1939.
