Acquisition

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Kielcach, Poland, Sygn.1030. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Jan. 2016. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.

Scope and Content

The registry of misconducts, records of newly constructed houses, tax books, a list of Jewish estates in the town of Końskie, and other rural communities.

System of Arrangement

Arranged in four series: 1.The registry of misconducts, 1928-1937; 2. Records of newly constructed buildings in Końskie, Przedbórz, the commune Bliżyn and 15 other rural communes, 1936; 3. Tax books of Końskie i Przedbórz, 1937-1942; 4. The list of Jewish properties in the town Końskie, 1942.
