Scope and Content

Sketch drawn by a friend of Martha Salm in 1941 while imprisoned in a concentration camp. The group of drawings depict aspects of daily camp life, such as bathing, doing chores, fantasies about food, sleeping quarters and kitchen, and dreaming of freedom beyond the barbed-wire fence.
