Collection purchased in cooperation with Thomson Gale Publishing.
Source of acquisition is the Public Record Office (National Archives of Great Britain). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the International Program Division in June 2007.
Scope and Content
Contains selected files from the War Office, Foreign Office, and Home Office relating to Jewish immigration to Palestine, displaced persons, including administration and policy records, reports on movements of DPs, nominal rolls and statistics, as well as the post war situation in Europe and restitution.
