Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Bundesarchiv-Militärarchiv Freiburg, Germany. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Jan.2007. The entire collection was digitized in 2012.

Scope and Content

Contains mainly personal papers, correspondence, diaries, and similar materials written by German officers and soldiers during World War II.
