Acquisition
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the records from the United States National Archives and Records Administration via a courtesy of Peter Black, Senior Historian at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies in Mar. 2007. Peter Black acquired from NARA two rolls of microfilms consisting of a publication of T990, Mauthausen Death Books and transferred to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives.
Scope and Content
Contains publication of the Mauthausen Death Books, T990. This is a chronological listing of deaths at the Mauthausen concentration camp indicating each person's number, full name, date and place of birth, occupation, cause of death, day and time of death and comments. There are approximately 7,000 names on each roll.
