Acquisition

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Source of acquisition is the Landesarchiv Berlin, Germany; Record Group, B Rep. 209. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfilms via the the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's International Archives in April 2006.

Scope and Content

Contains records relating to evaluation and treatment of Jewish property (addresses, type of property and ownership status); renaming of streets; denazification and Aryanization, and protesting against Jewish businesses. Includes also name lists of “foreigners” and forced laborers.
