Biographical History

Ida Friedman Trushin (born Itta Truszynska, 1910-1999) was born in Warsaw, Poland on September 18, 1910. She immigrated to the United States aboard the SS Kościuszko in 1931 with her husband, Saul Trushin (b. July 27, 1910 in Warsaw, Poland). They had four children: Theodore (b.1931), Leonore (b. 1937), David, and Ruth.

The photographs were donated to the United States Holocaust Memoiral Museum in 1999 by Lee Zarate.
