Acquisition

Harry Lore donated this collection to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on Aug. 29, 1994 in memory of his uncle, Morris Lore.

Scope and Content

Consists of 29 photographs of various scenes, including Heinrich Himmler talking to German officers, Hitler talking to officers, a group of civilians being deported (photographs are stamped "Friedrich Franz Bauer," photographs of German military troops and movements, and liberation photographs from an unknown concentration camp. Many of the photographs of the civilians are large portraits of the faces of individuals.
